oh my, winter break is so close i can taste it! ahhh two more days til i am home sweet home. i have been way too occupied studying, procrastinating, scheming, etc. i have been super crafty the past few days (see below photos). i also watched "factory girl" the other day. soooo good and definitely in my top ten favorite movies. it's about edie sedgwick a.k.a. muse to legendary artist andy warhol and total 60s fashion icon. even though her life was pretty screwed up, she was absolutely gorgeous and dated freakin' BOB DYLAN! ughh i need to build a time machine.edie sedgwick... died much too young.
so my big project over break is to paint a giant wall mural in my bedroom. i made the prototype today. it is a psychadellic sunset. i am hoping i can document the project in pictures, granted i get my new camera for christmas ;) ...this break is not going to waste! plus, i am planning on reading tons. i have at least 3 half-read books on my desk and a handful of others on my bookshelf just screaming to be digested. i will rank them at the end of break.

flower made out of a plastic water bottle. i've been mass producing these suckers like there's no tomorrow. eventually i will wire them together to make a wicked sweet chandelier. oh snaaaap!

my wall mural prototype. it says "sunshine" in the rays. i am in love.
lyrics of the day:
"they give us those nice, bright colors
they give us the greens of the summers
makes you think all the world's a sunny day"
